Hey!
I’m a Melbourne-based motion designer, looking to make brands cooler than they already are. I’ve been tinkering with keyframes for 5 years and creating media for 10. When I’m not in After Effects, I’m usually scouring YouTube for an engrossing video essay with great motion graphics on a hyperspecific internet topic, or rewatching my favourite films, shows, or video games.
My secret sauce to great design output is a combination of 3 elements:
Taste.
Let's take inspiration from amazing media and ask ourselves what makes them so engaging. This is where we scrutinise other media and see what makes it land, rewatchable, and sharable. Then it's about pulling that apart and finding what we can fuse into your brand.
Technique.
We'll inspect unique and creative forms of motion graphics that will make your brand shine. This is the fun part for me: creating graphics that make others go,
“How the hell did they do that?”
Communication.
It's vital to stay conscious of the identity and message, ensuring it stays fully understood, from the storyboards to the final pass. If there’s one thing I learned working for brands, it’s that the product is the marketing, and the marketing is the product.
